Type-Moon's tenth anniversary celebration is a big one.

Type-Moon's official website for its Carnival Phantasm anime project began streaming an opening promotional video and a character introduction promotional video off YouTube on Friday.
The anime adapts an anthology of Type-Moon manga short stories by Kannagi creator Eri Takenashi to celebrateType-Moon's 10th anniversary. Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats! My Bride is a Mermaid) is directing this anime at Lerche with scripts by Makoto Uezu (Is This A Zombie? My Bride is a MermaidTayutama -Kiss on my Deity-).

The Blu-ray Disc of the "1st Season" will ship in Japan on August 14, although people can buy it early at the Comic Market 80 event at the Tokyo Big Sight event center starting on August 12.

I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS~! NERDGASMDERPPOSTKITTNS11jaklf;ja
Seriously, I love everything about Type-Moon. My first Japanese PC fighting game series was the Melty Blood series, I played Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, and Kagetsu Tohya and loved them all. I watched and criticized the corresponding anime that followed, and while they (especially Tsukihime) weren't the best, they still made me feel happy inside. So, when I watched characters like Ciel, Akiha, and Rin going way out of character and dancing with an abundance of energy, to say I was shocked is an understatement. However, I kinda like this change of scenery. This series will be on HIGH PRIORITY, you can bet on that.
