POP self-produced the original anime video with director Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Moetan, Zettai Karen Children) and writer Shinichi Inotsume (Hayate the Combat Butler, Nyan Koi!). The team then updated the anime as a theatrical film short with an added side story last year.

I enjoyed Kawaguchi's works, and Inotsume has a solid track record.
