GTO's Fujisawa, Iketeru Futari's Sano to Launch Manga

ASCII Media Works' monthly online seinen magazine Dengeki Comic Japanannounced on Monday that creator Tohru Fujisawa (GTO) and artist Takashi Sano(Iketeru Futari) will launch a new manga series called Black Sweep Sisters on August 25. The "thrilling dark action" manga centers around two dissimilar ("one large-breasted, the other small-breasted") sisters who are exorcists for rising evil spirits.

The October issue will also launch the mysterious fantasy manga Suiheisen no Innocence manga by Taro Sekiguchi (Teioh, Get Sports, Wild Baseballers) and the four-panel manga Hitorijime Otōto Izumu by Kaname Uchimura.

Tohru Fujisawa has a great track record with me. GTO was a classic, and its nice blend of comedy and real-and-hard teenage drama never gets old. Rose Hip Zero was also a great read, though I haven't gotten too far with the series. Heck, I'll even say that I thoroughly enjoyed Tokko on Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday block, if not for the catchy opening.

Takashi Sano's work I'm less familiar with, as I've only watched Iketeru Futari and Usagi-Chan de Cue!, one of which I liked (Futari).

To put these two creators into perspective, I've decided to show one video from Fujisawa and another from Sano. Yes, I know the GTO trailer kinda stinks, but you'll get the idea.
